Kate Sberna Named Marcone Chief Human Resources Officer
St. Louis, MO (January 28, 2025) – Marcone Group, a leading North American distributor of appliance, HVAC, plumbing, commercial kitchen and pool and spa parts and equipment, announced today that Kate Sberna has been named Chief Human Resources Officer.
In this new position, Sberna oversees employment for Marcone’s team of 2,500. She looks forward to supporting leaders and employees as they create action plans that move the company forward.

Sberna has more than 25 years of experience in leading talent development and acquisition, as well as total rewards and implementing workforce strategies related to leadership development, performance management, employee engagement and succession planning.
Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer for real estate investment company Venterra Realty. Prior to that, she was Chief Human Resources Officer at United Site Services, where she provided strategic and operational support to align people programs with business growth. Sberna also served as Chief Talent Officer at Sterling Construction and 12 years at Aggreko where she held a variety of senior level global roles, leading both HR Teams and transformation programs. .
